Nine Blogs to Watch in 2009: Part 2 – Five More
Kate Brodock’s tweet about Mitch Joel’s 09 Blogs to Watch in ‘09 got me thinking about the blogs I’m watching most frequently these days. I recently wrote about the first four – now here are five more:
- slide:ology by Nancy Duarte et al – Nancy and several others from Duarte Design write this blog on how to build presentations that are good – visual, emotional, human, and tell great stories. This blog is the companion to Nancy’s book slide:ology.
- Library clips by John Tropea – John writes excellent articles on wiki adoption and building communities inside an organization, like this one: The top-down and bottom-up creation of enterprise communities, and wikis.
- Presentation Zen by Garr Reynolds – this is the original blog on great presentation design. He’s also the author of the book Presentation Zen, an absolute must-read if you want to learn how to make – and deliver – presentations that will wow your audience and leave them wanting more.
- Conversation Agent by Valeria Maltoni – Valeria has smart, relevant, apply-able ideas about online marketing, like Leading Brands Lead, Forget Influentials: in Viral Marketing, Context Matters, and How a Blog is Born.
- Common Craft Blog by Lee and Sachi Lefever – These two run one of the most original, awesome companies – Common Craft – and make videos that explain complex ideas in the simplest way possible. Here’s an example: Wikis in Plain English.
