Announcements: New Series, New Name, 21 Days of Wiki Adoption
First, thanks to everyone who’s viewed, shared, praised, critiqued, and enjoyed 21 Days of Wiki Adoption. As of today, the series is complete, and I’m extremely pleased with the outcome. More people are reading the blog than ever before, subscribers are at an all time high, and – most of all – the videos give you one more useful tool to promote wiki use.
Now on to the announcements:
New Name: By now, you’ve noticed that the name at the top has changed. As of today, Blog on Wiki Patterns is now Grow Your Wiki. I love the new name, and I hope you do too. Grow Your Wiki is a more action-focused name, and it better represents the purpose of this blog, and it fits better with names like Wikipatterns. Here’s how I think of it: Wikipatterns are the methods for wiki adoption, and Grow Your Wiki is the conversation and guide about how to choose and apply the best methods.
New Series: A new series starts Monday. We’ll take a little break from the daily videos, and this series will be penned by guest blogger Vincenzo Cammarata. He’ll look at the cultural key drivers for wikis in workplaces.
One more thing: You can now access this site using the address growyourwiki.com. Nothing changes with ikiw.org – you can still access the site that that address too. I just decided to add growyourwiki.com so that if people see the name and assume the address is growyourwiki.com – well, it’ll just work!
