Day 2: Wiki vs. Email

Day 2 - 21 Days of Wiki AdoptionThe primary difference between a wiki and email for collaboration is in the mechanics of each. If you and I were using email and an attached text document to collaborate, a lot has to happen between when I edit the document and when you can. Not so with a wiki:

  1. Great video and tips. I referred to it on my blog today. Email will still have its place, but much of it could be replaced with the use of wikis–resulting in better workplace and time management (not to mention, better projects!).

    Have you ever considered a wiki where you can submit content to the wiki via email?
    Since a lot of valuable content is in the emails, it makes sense to have a smooth integration…
