iPhone: available June 29, three new ads show features

Apple has revealed that iPhone will be available June 29, and posted three new ads – Never Been an iPod, How To, and Calamari. The ads show functions like playing music, browsing photos, receiving a call, browsing the web, watching a movie, and finding a restaurant, and end with, “Only on the new AT&T” and “Coming June 29.”

  1. I suspect the iPhone will be more like the OSX interface, and less like the iPod, in terms of market impact – i.e., influential yet marginal. It’s expensive, like most Apple products, but also only available in a limited area.
