What happened to “Knowledge Management”? Hint: wiki

On the Atlassian Blog I’ve explored this question and the relationship between social software and knowledge management based on some articles Euan Semple pointed out. In Whence goeth KM? Dave Snowden concludes that knowledge management is on its way out because it has changed so much since it first appeared in the early 1990s. Today, social tools like wiki focus completely on letting people work together online the same way they’d work in person.     Hi Stewart, thanks for articulating what I’ve suspected for a while. IT and management talk about implementing KM software; meanwhile everyone else is using wikis.
