Lessons from Firefox: Think hybrid, think globally

Parts five and six of my seven part series applying the Lessons from Firefox to wiki collaboration. Think hybrid suggests approaching the wiki as complementary to what you already use. Tools like email and content management systems are very useful for commnication and structured content creation, but not optimal for freeform, emergent collaboration, and that’s where a wiki can help. Think globally encourages you to use the wiki to bring people closer together, especially if they’re far away. Decisions can be made with greater input, work done faster, and multiple perspectives included very naturally along the way.
