IS Diaspora Musuem1.jpgWiki: SocialMediaDiaspora Does technology change identity? “The social media is allowing diaspora to connect in ways they couldn’t before. This has only accelerated the trend started by other technologies like cheaper jet travel, cable television etc.” So how does it do this? What’s the impact? Blogging has connected me to more people around the world than any other means, even travel, and I travel frequently. Today there are really three types of people, those you don’t know, those you know very well, and those you know well but have never met – the growth of technology and social media has created the third group. More and more often when I go to conferences I meet people that I already know well, through blogs, podcasts, IM, etc.

Someone mentioned this great quote from Mohammed Yunus: “Entrepreneurs are 70% crazy.”
