Canadian Business Online writes about the wiki

Maureen Halushak, a writer for Canadian Business Online, recently interviewed me for her article on the use of technology in universities. In The MTV generation gets plugged in she looks at efforts by several universities to equip learning environments with technology that brings real-life experiences to students. She highlights examples like making lectures available online for busy professional students who can’t attend traditional classes, bringing a CEO in via videoconferencing to discuss a real-life resolution to a business school case study, and improving collaboration on student projects with the wiki. This is a well-written look at the major trends in academic technology, and the vital role technology plays in meeting the needs of today’s students. Thanks Maureen!
