Links: Interview with Guy Kawasaki, Taste of The New York Subway System, How simple is too simple?

  • Pronet advertising (another fellow 9rules member) interviewed evangelist, venture capitalist, blogger and all around cool guy (excuse the pun) Guy Kawasaki.
  • Taste of The New York Subway System is a “directory of New York City restaurants organized by subway stop. This directory shows all restaurants within 200 meters of a subway station, ordered by distance and linked to Yahoo! local search.” The front page of the site contains just a little bit of text explaining the service but the centerpiece is a subway map. Clicking any stop brings you to a list of restaurants, and transfer stops also link to other lines. Be careful, you might forget you’re hungry once you start exploring this site!
  • In a thought-provoking post about the implications of designing for a specific situation vs. general use, Dan North asks How simple is too simple?
